Iduron Profile

Iduron is a dedicated Glycosaminoglycan company that offers an exciting and unique product range for research and development. The company was founded by Professor John Gallagher and is situated at the University of Manchester in the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research. Professor Gallagher and his colleagues have published over 100 peer reviewed papers in the Glycosaminoglycan field. The company was established with the help and guidance of the University of Manchester Intellectual Property Company and the University of Manchester Incubator Company. The technology and the know-how at Iduron were developed largely as a result of research funded by Cancer Research UK.  

The Paterson Institute for Cancer Research, The University of Manchester and Cancer Research UK benefit from profit share agreements with Iduron.
